How to be the architect of your growth (and curate your reality)

Sometimes in our life we feel we're on the wrong path and we don't even remember getting on it.

Or worse, we do remember getting on it but we're so far along we're not sure how to get off.

The moment we realise we're on the wrong path is not a happy moment. If anything, it feels more like sinking sand.

The good news is that by acknowledging you want to change paths, your life starts to pivot, and sometime later your life no longer looks like what it used to and instead looks like what you chose it to.

Because through choosing - choosing the habits you do, the people you give attention to, the thoughts you reflect on and the feelings you express - you curate both your internal and external reality.

To architect your growth is to be the leader of your life, to decide the direction, to define the results and to reinforce the momentum.

Most people struggle to lead their life because they don't realise they can.

They don't yet realise that they are already influencing their life and every decision is either bringing them closer to the quality of life they desire or further away.

“How do I know which is the right decision?” I hear you say, “what will bring me my manifestation sooner?”

Though it's not always possible to logically know the right decision and where it will take us…

Architecting your growth can be broken down into the following steps that will guide your decisions towards those that build your dream life.

Curate your reality

Pour yourself a tea or coffee (or cacao) sit in your favourite spot and contemplate the following (journaling or walking is also suitable):

  1. Notice what you don't want

  2. Notice what you do want

  3. Filter, refine and repeat

For months I was drinking terrible tasting coffee and I didn't even realise, until one day I decided to notice what I was experiencing…

At that moment I decided to change my coffee routine, and now it is a grounding and pleasurable ritual as opposed to something I rush through.

Create anchor points

Anchor points are reminders, reminding you of the energy you want to embody, the life you are creating and the person you are becoming.

For example, my coffee routine reminds me to pause, experience the moment and set an intention.

Basically, anchor points are rituals and habits that keep you on the path (you want to be on), and guide you back to the path if you are wandering off.

Some of my favourite anchors include:

  • Breathwork

  • Deep contemplation

  • Writing and journaling

  • Targeted hypnosis meditations

  • Immersing my senses in nature

  • Syncing to the frequency of gratitude

  • Self-discovery through skill development

  • Learning from and listening to people that inspire my behaviour

  • Intentional rituals and focusing on the feelings I want to cultivate

By incorporating these habits and rituals into my life, I continue to define the direction of my growth and refine the map I use to get there.

The Resonance Club includes monthly meditation bundles that are both a reminder and a reset (aka an anchor point).

The Resonance Club:

The included audio and journal prompts are a way to slow down, reflect, and intentionally shape your growth each month.

With each meditation bundle, you'll:

  • Access your inner wisdom

  • Practice gentle breathwork

  • Reinforce the feelings of gratitude

  • Experience an immersive soundscape

  • Self-discover through guided visualisation

  • Be reminded of the feelings you want to cultivate

  • And guided through journaling and contemplation

As you progress through each lunar cycle, you'll find that the insights and growth from one area of your life naturally flow into the next.

These meditations will be impactful not only during the specific moon cycle but also whenever you need a reset or activation in that area of your life.

They'll become a habit that reminds you of the thoughts and feelings you want to experience, reconnecting you to your lifeforce and manifestations.

Understand problems

Instead of only solving your problems, understand them…

  • Reflect - on why the problem is a problem in the first place

  • Research - similar problems and the different types of solutions

  • Refine - how you think, act and behave in response to the problem

By understanding the problem, you begin to understand the problem that led to the problem, which gives you the awareness to solve the root cause that keeps triggering the problem in the first place.

This is a process I use regularly with my 1:1 clients.

As we grow in one area, it often prompts us to improve and grow in another.

Each lunar cycle represents a different area of our lives, and the various stages of growth we experience as we evolve.

Therefore, together these cosmic cycle creates a cohesive journey throughout the year.

With each month bringing a new opportunity for transformation and self-discovery.

If you’re thinking, “How will next year be different? When every year I make well-intended plans… and every year life happens, and without purposeful reminders, one month blends into the next.”

I hear you… I’m also contemplating this just now…

What if instead of focusing on a whole year of growth, we focus on the cycle of growth within a month?

Knowing that each of these “mini” cycles will contribute to the greater cycle and lead us to where we desire to go.

What if each month you could:

  • Cultivate a ritual that infuses magic and intention into every area of your life,

  • Discover hidden wisdom and guidance within yourself, and

  • Create an anchor point for reflection and realignment.

What you can do today:

Start small and curate what you can.

Turn a routine into an anchor point ritual.

Research different perspectives on a problem.

You are already a creator of your life, why not be a curator?
